The firm originally practiced as John Glyn Barton & Williams from premises in Bryanston Square, London W1. Mr Gerald Williams was one of the partners in that firm.

In 1968 John Glyn Barton retired from the partnership and the firm became Williams Posner. In 1974 following the retirement of Geoffrey Posner the firm became Williams & Co with Gerald Williams at its head. In 1988 the firm moved to Edgware and in 1989 Lesley Williams became a partner in the firm and in 2018 Naomi Yeshua became a partner.

Williams & Co are leading Family Law solicitors covering the London Borough of Barnet and beyond. Our clients come from all over London and further afield. We have legal aid contracts in Family. For many years Lesley Williams has been the chair of the London Borough of Barnet Domestic Violence Forum, now the VAWG (Violence Against Women and Girls) Forum.

Lesley Williams, Naomi Yeshua and Lorraine Bernstein are very experienced Family Law solicitors. They are accredited specialists and Naomi Yeshua and Lorraine Bernstein are members of the Children Panel and Naomi is also a child abduction specialist. Lesley Williams is the firm’s senior partner and she is also a mediator.

The firm deals with Wills and Probate matters as well as all areas of Family law.
